METAPOSTA was the winner of the "Autonomous Administration" category in the competition “Success Stories of ICT Innovators and Models in the public Administration and Organisations” with the project "Metaposta, your electronic strongbox, your letterbox on the Internet" organised by the @asLAN Association. The main aim of this initiative is to promote the exchange of know-how and to give public recognition to the effort and dedication of the ICT Officers of AAPP who led the initiative.

This year, 2011, a total of 94 Success Stories from 77 Public Organisations have taken part, considerably more than last year, and from these, 27 finalists have been selected through an open and transparent process in which 867 professionals have taken part with their votes.

On April 7, Metaposta will receive the award following the presentation of the "Metaposta, your electronic strongbox, your letterbox on the Internet" within the framework of the SITI/asLAN´2011 trade fair, in the presence of representatives from a number of different Public Organisations, the executives of @asLAN associate companies and the media.

Today, in just one month, more than 3000 people have begun to use the services offered by METAPOSTA, since it was presented officially on February 16.

Since it was formed in a 1989, @asLAN, the Association of network systems, Internet and telecommunications suppliers, has been engaged in the promotion and dissemination of network and telecommunications technologies in the Spanish business sector.
