The Internet strongbox and electronic mailbox service has been recognised by the Dintel Foundation.

On Wednesday night, METAPOSTA received the prize awarded by the Dintel Foundation every year for the “best technological project in Cloud Computing”, promoted by the Government. The award ceremony took place at the close of the annual Cloud Computing conference organised by the Foundation and which this year bore the title "Security and efficiency in the cloud". The award was collected by the Computing and Telecommunications Services Director, Serafín Olcoz, on behalf of the Basque Government. He highlighted the virtues of "this groundbreaking, fully confidential and maximum security service for the online management of documents, which eliminates paper and saves space“.

This award is just one more of a list of prizes received by METAPOSTA since it was launched just one year ago on February 16. Since then, METAPOST, “your Internet strongbox and mailbox”, has received the prize of the prestigious computer fair SITIAslan in Madrid, in the Successful Case category promoted by an autonomous community, in March 2011. And it was finalist at the Buber prizes, in two categories (best publicity campaign and best corporate blog) in December 2011. And it was also a finalist this month in the so-called Technology Oscars awarded by the Fundetec Foundation. METAPOSTA finished among the 12 best candidatures of the 229 presented from all over Spain.

Dintel is a private, state-wide foundation, engaged in the dissemination of Information and Communications Technologies that promotes in all its activities the maximum interpersonal relationships among public and private sector executives that have decision-making and technological prospecting powers or who define strategic services for the public within the context of the Electronic Administration.
